Please get away from him, do whatever you have to do. I was in a similar situation several years ago and it NEVER got better, it actually got so much worse over time. I don't know why in the world your mother would say that to you but she is wrong..he is abusive, you didn't do anything wrong. Please take care of yourself and keep us posted..(rosetta)
