I'm sitting here amazed at what happened to my father-in-law this weekend.

He just went out and paid cash for a new Toyota Tundra (decked out). He owns his own home, has a hefty balance in his checking out, etc., etc.

Well, he called to get dish satellite for his t.v. and they refused him because he has NO credit...not good, not bad, none.

Someone works hard their entire life and believes paying cash to make his way can't even get the simpler things anymore...

That just stunned me...

I told him to call back and offer to pay a year or two in advance. I won't tell you the words he said to mean "forget them". LOL.
