It can take a week or so for the initial side effects to go away/get more tolerable. Have some patience with it and just communicate with your pdoc. You are right in that this doesn't sound like something you need to contact your pdoc about right away; it can hold until you see him unless the issue becomes more pronounced. Your pdoc may have wanted you to take it in the evening because drowsiness could be a side effect, so if that is a switch that you made at the pharmacist's suggestion, you might reconsider it as an evening med if the drowsiness is bothersome. I took zoloft at one point, but it was so long ago I can't remember how it went for me.
