I have never initiated termination with a therapist. I have terminated with my long-term T, but it was done slowly, and i accepted it.

are you saying that you are now friends with one of your former t's? Where I live, it is considered unethical to be friends after therapy, at least not for a long time afterwards. I have a former T who wanted to, but she was afraid of losing her license to practice.
