Thank you my friends in other countries for pointing out that lack of guns makes a society safer. I don't think I have ever spouted my political views here; however, I think that the US needs tighter gun laws in place. The number of deaths caused by shootings in my area are reported so often, that we are almost numb to it. I know the Constitution gives the freedom to bare arms, but there is a big difference in a hunting rifle and an assault rifle.
