When looking to support your boyfriend/the relationship you have to look only at him and what he likes, not what you're dong. Does HE like calls to tell him you love him? You have to be interested in him and what he says as well as, when you're looking to find out about yourself, interested in only yourself and what you want, not what you think others want of you. There is no "supposed to" about yourself.

I rewatched the "Runaway Bride" last night and the scene where she tries all the eggs to find what kind of eggs she liked is the right idea. What you like and how you live your life has nothing whatsoever to do with anyone else, including your boyfriend.
