I used to wear Merle Norman makeup before I became poor. I've been saving for eye shadow and yesterday I stopped in the store and tried on different shades. I must have developed an allergy to their eye shadows. My eyes started matting before I went to bed. I woke up with one matted shut and the other darn close. I have had to use hot compresses all morning to keep them clean.

I have some old drops I used when my eyes were inflammed before. It wouldn't be sterile though... My eyes are fire engine red and the lids are swollen and dark. I look scary! They burn, too.

Thank heavens I didn't open the new shadow and I can get a refund.
