I think it's ok even good to look at your own words and intentions and reflect on them. Doing it with others might be more troubling tho as we often cannot tell or know what or why they say or do and where it comes from or why or how they feel about it unless we ask them.

What about just accepting the symptoms and working on ways to handle them the best you can, or ways you can change things to make life better for yourself, instead of so much worrying over what the symtoms are called or what category they are.
