Maranara, I avoided Facebook for a long time, but I used MySpace. That finally got to be too much, so I gave FB a chance. It was fun at first, when I was able to check my previous posts for replies, and then post and share new postings, and then to do it the next day all over again. However, I have so many friends, that trying to keep up with the past posts (and possible new comments) plus add more, is just impossible! Still, that's not my problem with it. My problem is that, if you don't comment on someone's posts, after a while, even though they're your friend, you don't get their feed anymore. I think I should get all my friends' feeds, at least according to my preference settings, and if it's too much, it's my decision where to cut back (or IF to cut back).
Originally, FB was a lot of fun. Interesting discussions, comments, arguments, funny stuff, interesting news stories, cute pictures, etc. Lots of sharing. Then FB added stuff like their Timeline thing, things that don't always work right, or work just how they're supposed to but nobody likes it, and it's not so fun anymore. When I signed up, I thought you had to use your real name, which has advantages (like if someone you knew a long time ago and would like to get back in touch with looks you up) and disadvantages (like if someone you knew a long time ago but would not like to get in touch with looks you up). I would change it if FB would let me (I don't know if they would), but it would get confusing for my friends, so I just let it be.
