So, I am having mixed feeling about the emails I sent to my pdoc (see my many other posts in various forums)and the things I have been experiencing lately (again, see my other posts) and at the encouragement of T (who finally responded to the many emails I sent her in the past week) just tried calling pdoc's office to see if they had an earlier appointment. The message on their machine says they will be closed for the holidays from December 21st to January 6th and will reopen on January 7th. Argh!

They reopen 2 days before my original appointment, so getting in "earlier" isn't possible...2 days (if they would even have anything) wouldn't be worth going in earlier for. I'm not in any danger, so it's not an "emergency". I just am worried and want to get the visit over with sooner. If it were an emergency I could always call pdoc's cell, but it's not, so I'll let him enjoy his holiday without adding to bugging him with emails.

Why do they have to be closed for 2 weeks? Why couldn't it just be for a few days around each holiday (xmas and new years)? Maybe I will call back and leave a message this time asking if they have anything on the 7th? It's doubtful as pdoc is only in during the afternoons, as he is medical director at the local metal hospital during the mornings, so it's not like they have appointments all day long. 2 days would be a little earlier at least...but then again it's only 2 days.

Anyone else's pdoc office closed for an extended period of time due to the holidays?
