1st, why do do doctors always automatically first think a problem is anxiety?! Ok, so I have psych history including PTSD--which my doc just learned last week is still a problem. I still can get sick.
I have been in so much pain--my head throbbing, pain in my back, hip down my leg, plus fever. Camped over last night by my doctor's office. Not that I could get comfortable to sleep. It even hurt so much when I showered yesterday! I had emailed my doctor yesterday then later wrote back that I would just come in during their early walk-in hour if I didn't go to the ER during the night. The doctor I saw thought a virus and faxed an Rx for a plenty of Vicodin to the pharmacy right away for my pain. Its so hard to move and uncomfortable--I was almost in tears! I am supposed to drink a lot of fluids and get rest, be comfortable. I looked at her and reminded her that I live in my car--and its not very comfortable right now.
Forgot where I was going with this. But BTW...The Vicodin is helping some! *BUT!* I just noticed a slight rash. I am allergic to other narcotics and though Vicodin is different it has potential for causing a causing a cross reaction. I have been okay with it before, but that could always change.
Nap time. Nighty Night!
