I've always been intensely drawn to the sound of a vacuum cleaner. When I was a small child I literally followed it around the house when my mum was cleaning and curled up with it. I used to hum with it. Now I have the sound of a vacuum cleaner on my iphone and I play it more than anything else by MILES.

(This is a bit yukky!) When I was a teenager and became obsessed with scratching the palm of my left hand to the point where it became raw and impossible to close, but I kept doing it anyway. This was not self-harm. It was definitely obsessive.

I've only just joined this web-site forum, but it's funny how all my quirky behaviours now have seemingly rational explanations (if you could ever call Asperger's rational in the conventional sense).
