A few, initially. But then they began eating again and gained weight.

Have you checked into the side effects? My idea is this: if I could survive on 4 oz of food for each meal, I'd do it without the surgery (and the intense nausea from it).... for most surgeries, I hear that's the initial results...

I think if a person can invest in psychotherapy to find out why the body "is allergic to food: it breaks out in fat" ... it might be a better, long term investment?

I personally know that when I'm stressed, and the body dumps the cortisol, that I will NOT maintain my weight and will probably gain. If I go on a diet and am stressed, I will gain, not lose. I must work at the "mind over matter" issue... doing calming exercises, eat with purpose etc.

IDK how much you have tried. I do know how frustrating it can be to be a heavy person and not have "anything" work to slim down. Good wishes.
