I went through that for basically my entire 6th grade year (4 years ago) when my OCD was at its absolute worst. It is quite difficult to recover from, considering your OCD tells you things like "If you 'recover' from this, you'll go to hell" or whatever. Religious people have told me that if I "have OCD over religion, then that's a good thing to be obsessed about" but they really don't understand one bit; it took over my entire life. Religious OCD is quite difficult to deal with considering you (think that you) have reason to feel guilty for trying to recover. I'm not even sure what I did to recover from it, I guess I got preoccupied with other things and that distracted me from my obsessions, although my OCD did (and still does) continue to persist in other forms. My mom didn't allow me to go to church because all I did at home was talk about the Bible and religion, and religious things were all I'd do or think about. I'd suggest medication or therapy because like I said, religious OCD is REALLY hard to recover from on your own because you feel guilty and like you'll burn in hell for all eternity. I extend to you my deepest sympathies. Hopefully in time you'll find the obsessions pass.
