for me, this would be my first tattoo, and most likely my only one. Both the crescent moon and tree have deeper meaning for me, so it would be something i could reflect on.

I think that overcoming those scars would be... triumphant. And I mean, yes, they were my fault but there is no reason I should have to endure humiliation or embarassment over them when I go out, if I could have something motivating.
