I have alot of trouble with memory. Insomuch that sometimes I will forget the simplest things, like remembering to brush my teeth, shower, clean the dishes, write in my journal etc.
Its lead me to have an extremely messy house and i know most of you think "well if you can see it is messy, then wouldnt that remind you?"
One would think that, but sometimes I will go a week or more without it ever occuring to me that i might need to clean.
like, the thought is not even there.
Right down to the simplest of things like hygeine, as embarassed as I am to say sometimes it is weeks before i think of my toothbrush.
I need routine. and I need a way to remind myself of these things that is not overwhelming - another problem Im having is when there is a large mess, it is simply too much for my brain to handle and I shut down and hide.
thoughts? Ideas? Im trying
