May I ask why you haven't talked to her since you got to school? Did you move far away? Do ya'll have a phone?
Is this your first move away from loved ones?
I like to make home-made cards for my family and friends....nothing elaborate...just a plain ole' piece of typing paper, folded and colored with crayola's...and decorate it however I want to. I add a little note to let them know I am thinking of them, and keeping them in my thoughts and prayers...just a small act of thougtfulness will add a smile to those who get mail...and also, we get the added benefit of using our creative talents. It helps me to give to others when I am feeling down... just smile at a stranger, maybe.... smiles are contagious... pass one on.

Oh yes... try to enjoy school. What are you studying?
