The reason I am so upset about not talking to her is because i haven't heard from her. I understand she is a very busy woman, but i've emailed her 3 times in the past month and haven't heard back from her. All summer i had been talking to her on the phone, through email, and she was the one there for me when i had my surgery ... but even since school started things have been different.

Mylife4him- welcome to pc ... and yes i did move far away for school - but this "mother" figure of mine use to be my housemaster at my highschool i went to (boarding school) and so she is in the same province as me (as oppose to my actual family who lives in Nova Scotia) - I like the idea of sending cards though, thanks
