Amandalouise's idea of taping your classes is excellent! I combined her idea and RJ's of typing notes. I would take hand written notes and record the lecture. Then I'd listen to the tape while I trancribed the notes, typing them on the computer.
You mentioned how you could get your parts to agree on a system. Are your various parts aware of one another? Do they communicate with each other? If they do could you hold kind of a roundtable discussion with everyone participating?
