there is also dissociative motor disorder which seems to never get a mention anywhere other then on the DMV list

here in america we dont have a diagnosis called dissociatibve motor disorder.. here that diagnosis is called ...conversion disorder.. here conversion disorder is not with in the dissociative disorders grouping because it can be caused by many different mental disorders ie depression symptoms can be converted into having medical/motor/ funtioning problems like head aches, aches pains difficulty getting out of bed difficulty walking talking..
so here in the USA and in the DSM (america's diagnostic book for mental disorders) conversion disorder (your word dissociative motor disorder) is grouped with the somatoform disorders ie same grouping that body dysmorphic disorder, hypochondriasas (some places call this facticious disorder), pain disorder, somatization disorder, undifferentiated somatoform disorder.
