Well, true love is a choice-not a feeling. The feeling is merely a small part of what real love is. How do you know if you're receiving it? I think that's something that only you can tell. If you decided to share the deepest and most fragile parts of your heart with your partner I think that would be the beginning of letting that person love you. Then your partner would follow through by entrusting his/her heart with you. You would know after a while after knowing that he/she will not hurt you in any way possible.

In order to show that you truly love another person you must show that you trust that person. To love someone is to give that person the ultimate weapon to destroy you but believing she will not do it, but rather hide it so nobody else can hurt you.
