I have actually just received acceptance for my postgrad psychology but it was a very stressful few weeks before I received the email! I did have a back up plan though of different employment (would look at full-time in the field instead of part-time) and had been attending interviews but didn't need that.

dang so even after one has proven themselves with a doctorate the "acceptance" ventures don't stop huh? lol bring it on I suppose
I won't hear anything until march I think, but not sure. I know that interviews are in march, but don't know how soon they tell people before hand. I'm waking up at night now with nightmares about my personal statement saying all the wrong things and failing to mention things...it was the best I could do, I turned it in feeling great about it, but paranoia is setting in for sure lol
On top of all that, my girlfriend and I just received a 30 day notice to move out of the house we were renting...apparently the house our landlord was living in is now being auctioned off..long story, but now I'm faced to find an apartment not knowing how long the lease should be. Right now we've decided on this 7 month lease, and me moving to the 4 hour away campus first while my gf finishes the lease, should I get accepted. So I would be going alone lol. It's do able, but stressful as my finances are less then $200 altogether right now.
I'm sure it will all work out though, thanks for replying! I really needed a vent I guess
