There are two subgroups of synethesia. Associate and projectors.
While I can see that a letter is in text black, it's like looking at it through a film of color.
A in this text is black..but when I look at it my brain screams"red" and I see it through a film of red. I cannot look at A without there being red.
I am going to a neurologist soon and will talk to him about it.
But it's like letters each have their own aura of color.
