I went to planned parenthood because I was 17 and although my mother had signed a release for me to be treated by my doctor without my mom being there I was terrified that the doctor might mention, in passing, that I had been there which would have tossed me into the fire so to speak.

I made the appointment and ironically my boyfriend's ex girlfriend went with me. ... She and I are still friends.
