It would likely be preferable for many, over an island teaparty with plain ol' strangers, who have no such thread connecting them.

Just no stinking hot bug infested tropical paradise please...or some Arctic thing where we have to spend days in some stark prefab building just praying for the helicopters to hurry the hell back...Temperate baby...somewhere off the coast of New Zealand...or a pretty little uninhabited Japanese one...y'know?
