hey mike, welcome to PC.
firstly can i say sorry to hear of your sad news. i lost a few family members in the space of 2 years too so i know it is hard. the feelings you have are your mind just trying to make sense of all the heartache you have just recieved.
it is a good idea to either see a doctor or therapist about this. it is definately a good sign that you are willing to face the truth and accept that you may be suffering from depression, many people chose to hide from it and pretend its not happening. so congratulate yourself on that, be proud.
during depression, you may lose sight of passions you once had, but sometimes when we grow up our passions change, so i dont know about that one.
dont worry about lengthy posts, faith's right, you should talk alot. it really does help. and that post isnt as long as some of the ones i have written lol, near on novel sometimes! hehe
to deal with what you have dealt with at the age of 16 makes things that little harder. i was 14 when i lost a few members of my family. it makes it all worse because we already have so many emotions flying around our heads so the added worries of depression can be even worse than normal. thats not to say the loss of loved ones isnt hard, because it is.
your father would be proud of you, mike. you are very brave to embrace all this and i wish you all the best.
