It made your depression/OCD worse? That's strange, but I have heard of that happening with some people.

SSRI's have been hit or miss with me. Lexapro worked better than I could have imagined, and enhanced my life overall during the time I took it. Luvox, on the other hand, made me so manic I had to be hospitalized. I suppose everyone reacts differently to different meds.

Remeron seems like a very interesting med. Rather obscure, but it's funny how those sometimes can work best. I'll bring it up with my doc, see what he thinks. Right now everything is up in the air.
