I've done biting and scratching too. I think that most of us probably have had something other than cutting. It becomes how we cope with life and stress and everything. In order to turn it around I think we need to learn healthy ways to cope and how to talk about our feelings rather than act them out. It's hard work and usually takes professional support. Does your counselor help you with that?
