I'm just getting caught up on this, Rose. I'm sorry your dad wasn't more responsive. I have done the same thing countless times--reached out to try and get a little bit of comfort and been hurt by the chilly response. It's human to want to be comforted by one's parents when injured. I hope the exhaustion has let up a little.
