He knows more than his American counterparts because in addition to all FDA~approved drugs available in the US he prescribes from a multtitude of drugs developed and available in Europe. When I was hospitalzed with Lithium intoxication, he asked me to remind him of its symptoms because he monitors his Lithium~taking patients more closely than I was monitored so nobody reaches Lithium toxicity in his care.
