I'm having a HSG tomorrow and I'm so damn nervous. It's a procedure where they shoot dye into your uterus and tubes, then xray it, to see if there's any blockages.

We've been trying to have a baby for 16 months and we finally went to a fertility dr last tuesday. He's taking a really aggressive approach to it. I didn't think it would happen this quick. Anyways, if my tube isn't blocked, he's going to put me on Femara (a fertility drug). If the tube is blocked, the only way i can get pregnant is with invitro. He also said if I get pregnant naturally there's a 15% chance I'll have an ectopic pregnancy, b/c I've already had one.

Anyways, I really hope the tube isn't blocked, so I can go the Femara route. The only bad thing about him being so aggressive is that I don't have much time to come off my medications. I just need to taper of tegretol, and gabapentin, the other ones I can just stop taking. My back isn't going to like it, but that just means more back massages from my husband. LOL.
