I did a 10 week DBT group not too long ago. I was supposed to start another one next week, but work won't let me do that due to a crazy schedule. Anyway, I think DBT is hugely helpful. Instead of focusing on trying to change negative thoughts, which is all most traditional therapy does, this therapy tends to focus more on actually trying to change how you deal with things and how your mind works in general. I really loved it. You have to be ready to commit yourself to it though. Doing it with half of your effort will not be enough if you want the full benefit. I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me.
