I went to this club where my daily support group was held.

This club is not affiliated in any way with this group and requires membership for me to hang out there.

Sometimes I have arrived early for group and I have tried to respect this rule.

Yesterday, I went in and got confronted by a door with a sign on it saying, "Members only".

I was sooooo scared that they were cracking down on non-members trying to hang out there for free. Because I had arrived there early sometimes.

So I was standing outside and someone finally opened the door and said, "Carol why are you standing out here?"

I told them I was afraid to go in. I told them how that sign made me feel. So intimidated and how scared I was of being "cracked down on".

That was not it. They had the door closed because of cold weather.

Thank goodness!

I am so glad I was able to ask them about this and straighten it out.

I had been starting to feel again like a little girl being scolded for intruding.
