Wow! we talked some more.. turns out he's only considering moving here to have a child with me. He's not interested in trying to form a relationship. I feel like a *****.. well not really. Apparently I'm good enough to be his child's mother but not good enough to date him. F*&^ that. I'm better than that. Besides which if I'm going to do it all essentially myself anyway it seems to me the better course of action would be to sleep with a guy who has no interest in the child so at least the child would be mine and there would be no "old relationship" baggage in the way. And he wouldn't be in the way. Somehow it all leaves me feeling kinda used.
