so i didn't have to do any self injury stuff... i fell down the stairs instead... with mikey in my arms.. he's not exactly a small boy... i think i broke my ankles... if they're really bad in the morning i'll go get checked out.. but mikey survived the fall like a true sport!! he didn't even suffer a bump!! he's on some pain killers and anti-inflamatories so the vet can figure out what's causing all the excitement... so we will see....
