Hi,

I am new to this forums and hope to get help. I am suffering from depression and OCD since 1997. I have been receiving treatment but not really of much help. The main problems why i feel Psychiatrist or Psychologist cannnot help much is because i have this illusion problems. At time, I don't know whether it is just illusion or really have such thing happening. For example when i went to see a Psychologist, after the Psychologist listen to my problems, he offer me a method to use when my problems or negative thoughts come to my mind. He told me to just let the thought come, do not do anything to it, do not fight it, just let it go. I feel this method is good and helpful. However my illusion problems tend to stop the method. I don't know whether it is illusion or really have such things happening. I seen to hear the Psychologist said that the just let the thought come, do not do anything to it, do not fight it, just let it go method is not suitable for my condition and I cannot use it for my problems. At time when i use the computers, i will tend to see that the just let the thought come, do not do anything to it, do not fight it, just let it go method should not be used to help person with depression or OCD. The more i think about it, it seem to be real. But I feel it is just my illusion. What should i do to overcome this problems?
