Yes, it isn't as scarey when you have someone that can validate the confusion, and tell you that you will make gains on it. I know how lost PTSD can make someone feel, and yes, it is hard to "self heal" and also have to work on a relationship too.
You are doing all the right things, I can see you making progress too. So continue to be patient, try to allow as many positive thoughts as you can come forward too. You don't want to create a constant pattern of "negetive" thoughts ok?
Remember, PTSD magnifies, so if you get emotional "don't" feed into it, it can be tempting to do. Try not to allow yourself to have to "know what you want right now either" I hear you fretting about that, let that go for now, the first thing you need to do is heal, that is going to take "time" so be patient. You have a lot of "good questions", questions that others have too, so you are not as alone as you think.
