Replace the Facebook addiction with a blogging addiction. Start a blog (easy and free) and start writing about the things you have a passion for, in addition to your thoughts. It's something that's on the internet, so it's itching that itch to go online, and it's actually quite healthy as you are expressing yourself and interacting with like minded people.
Not to mention it's more productive than most of the things one does on Facebook.
