Sit down and write a list of life events...a title per se, no detail given, and not just the bad, traumatics ones but the good ones too as few and far between as they may sometimes appear. Just a few words that you know what the event is. Cover as many of the events of your life as you can. Not necessary to put them in order though maybe number them in order at some point. Pick one a day to write about....maybe more if you start getting in to it. Pick the easier ones to write about first. Hopefully writing those will gear you up, make it a little more easier to write about the more difficult ones. When you do start writing about the difficult ones, take frequent breaks, possibly pick another easy one to write while you're allowing yourself time to calm down or readjust to writing about the hard one. It still won't be easy, but once you get in to the habit of writing with the easier events the harder ones should come out a little smoother. Good luck.
