I definitely agree. I was the same - I couldn't wait to get out of high school but now (having just finished university) I really miss it. I miss the structure and routine. Someone who would set up all the classes and just tell you where to be and what to do. Assignments were structured, easy and there seemed to be a lot more support.

I also found that I missed the courses - or at least variety of courses. I can understand it but all of my uni courses are based around the one area. I loved having the freedom in high school to learn about so many different things.

I have been lucky to still have a lot of contact with my high school friends but it is still not the same.

So yeah, definitely get where you are coming from I enjoyed uni and am looking forward now but still do miss it sometimes. It just seemed to be so easy compared to 'the real world'.
Thanks for this!
