Been there a coupla times, JA. It's often the leanest times that really show our character for what it is, and so many people go back to them when things are "better", and say it wasn't so bad; and that it taught them a lot about themselves.

We have been forced into a financial crisis ourselves, recently---and yet, it really hasn't been as hard as I thought it might be. It was the unfairness of it all that's been the hardest thing to deal with. And relearning the joys of simple things---hot coffee, fresh air, clean clothes---that's been a good reminder for me.
