i was also told in order to get your own place, some apts want you to be at the job for 9 mos to a year of stable employment. i live in AZ the average for an apt is 700-800 dollars there are cheaper ones mostly low income neighborhoods with crime. one cheap one my bf's mom found was perfect as she asked a lot of questions about the neighborhood the tenants etc for a 2 bedroom its $599 not bad it also depends on the neighborhood u choose to live as well always do ur research dont be like my idiot parents who choose a place cuz its cheap and run down
