Ok thanks for the extra context. When you get to the ER, you present yourself and tell the person at the counter that you need help immediately and that you're suicidal. This type of situation is not that unusual at an ER, many people, including on this site, have done so in the past. I haven't, though I almost did several times in the fall, so maybe someone who has can be more specific, but it's not something to be shameful about.

If you do this, your parents will find out, but it is important that they know about your symptoms.
