i don't really want to analyze the pastor. it's just that he seems to have everything together - happy family with a bubbly wife and brand new baby, they just raised a church that keeps growing every sunday, just bought a new house they're remodeling...

so it just seems like he has plenty of reason to not worry about his own self-esteem, or anyone else's for that matter.

just seems like that's how it always is, for every church i've been to, they're always preaching that you're worthless without God, and that just makes me feel worse because i don't feel a connection to God. never really have.

i feel a spiritual connection to something, but it's not to this christian God.
