Well.....I am going to be as honest as I can, but I applied for SSDI in November 2011, I was denied once, now I filed an appeal and still have not received a decision. I was told by my attorney that they are really behind right now because there has been an increase in claims I guess. So, technically I have been waiting for over a year for my decision. Initally, I received the denial in February or March of last year. So, it took about 3 or 4 months to get the first decision. I wish you luck and don't give up.
