I try to pretend it's not there.......it only works 2/10. My husband helps 100% by letting me vent and then he helps me come back to reality (if I haven't flown off the wall by him not "recognizing" my feeling). It is a daily struggle really.
Noise canceling headphones help sometimes but if it gets really bad I take a PRN med. It's an internal fight for the person going through but helps when you have love around you to remind you that you are still lovable.
