Hi. Before I went on a 3 year breakdown drinking binge my conversations, replies and opinions were well thought out, concise and interesting. Its very apparent now that I am sober, (2 years not counting the very occasional beer) that my thought processes were severely damaged by it. Ive heard all about the rewiring of your brain by the effects of alcoholism. I hope to combat this with a new personal program Ive devised to retrain my brains thought patterns.
Im starting with Math, Im going to incorporate physics into my study plan later on. (i used to study physics, years and years ago.)
Ive already started studying math. I know it sounds a little out of the way, but I believe that it will help me to formulate my thoughts. Ive also decided to continue with my study of the spanish language. I still remember most of it, so a quick brushing up should suffice to catch me back up and then i will march onward to fluency. Im really happy about this plan. Besides, my learning of the higher mathematics will help my son as well. He started high school this year, and I skipped most of the grades in high school, its hard to remember the math.
So, heres a toast, (with dr. pepper

to me. Its about time I took the time to pay attention to some of my own needs for once. Hoping this will make me feel a lil more mentally balanced.

Have a wonderful night ya'll!
