I was on it for three years while I learned in t herapy and depression management classes how to take care of my depression with other coping tools too. I had no problem with eating. if anything I ate more because when I am depressed and or upset I cant eat. and the medication kept me from feeiling depressed and so on so I wanted to eat again. it wasn't until after my child came home and during his five months home welbutrin was added at which point my wanting to eat went significantly down and aided in my losing 50 pounds. I did on the other hand have a vertigo problem when on paxil. I could not move very fast when sitting up or sitting down, laying down and getting up and walking fast because I would get dizzy.
