A boss like that doesn't sound like a good boss to have. As for your friend, you said you felt sick but she said it was jus cold, so if she's upset at you for being sick around her... well, she wasn't acting like you were sick when you were there, so it's not all on you. You instantly took steps to let them know you had a fever once you found out. I don't know. Hard to tell by text tone, you know?
