Speaking for myself .. I have learned a lot in Therapy, Its not foolproof mind you, I have gotten very in tune with my emotions. If I feel that I'm headed off the track so to speak I will Stop and do a self check and take a step back and look at myself. Sometimes I have every right to go off about something. Sometimes I realize there is no need to flip out or start the self loathing train.
Anyway that's what has been working for.
